Set within a glass-and-metal envelope, the PELIAS Office uses clean geometry and sharp contrasts to project a confident, contemporary identity. Degmeda’s “Deep Char” spruce cladding was chosen to introduce a dark, natural material layer without disrupting the building’s corporate clarity. Installed vertically, the boards add rhythm and height to the facade, breaking up reflective surfaces with texture and depth.

More than a visual statement, the “Deep Char” finish delivers practical performance. The charred surface forms a protective layer that improves weather resistance and reduces maintenance demands, helping the facade retain its matte character in an urban setting.

"Deep Char" Spruce

For this project, Degmeda’s “Deep Char” spruce boards were selected to create a matte, tactile surface that complements the building’s glass and metal. The finish supports long-term durability and a low-maintenance facade – a strong fit for a high-visibility commercial building.
