Traditional Residential Complex: Vertical Larch facade boards in "Dark Brown"

About the project

A row of matching pitched-roof buildings sits in a landscaped setting near water, connected by wide paved paths and low planting. Vertical larch boards in “Dark Brown” wrap the facades, and the dark tone reads clearly against the grey roof tiles and white window frames, giving the whole site one consistent look across several separate structures.

With repeated units and large wall surfaces, a single finish helps keep the exterior calm and even from building to building. The dark brown tone also pairs well with greenery and garden elements, so the facades stay visually tidy without needing extra materials or strong contrasts to create structure.

Boards used in the project

"Dark Brown" Larch

This finish is used as the main facade surface, acting as a warm, dark backdrop for the lighter windows and doors. The vertical board direction keeps the walls orderly and consistent, and using the same finish across the complex supports a cohesive site appearance rather than a mix of tones that would read differently in changing light.
