Degmeda “Silver Grey” Thermo Spruce

“Silver Grey” combines brushing with a silver grey oil on thermally modified spruce. Brushing opens the surface so the harder grain stands slightly proud of the softer timber around it, and the oil settles more deeply into those raised lines. They read darker, while the wood between them keeps more of the warm amber tone formed during thermal modification.

Where “Light Grey” evens that amber out into a softer, more neutral tone, “Silver Grey” holds more contrast, so the grain and knots of the spruce stay clearly legible. It suits facades, fences and interiors where the timber should read as texture rather than as flat colour, and where variation between boards is part of the intended effect.
