Degmeda “Brushed and Hacked” Thermo Spruce
“Brushed and Hacked” is an expressive texture finish in the Degmeda thermo spruce range. Brushing removes the softer wood tissue and reveals the natural grain, while hacking creates an uneven relief across the board face. The result is a surface with pronounced texture, where the grain and the marks of the process become the defining visual element.
During thermal modification, the spruce develops its characteristic amber tone and improved dimensional stability. The two-stage mechanical treatment ensures each board carries its own distinct relief and appearance.
