Degmeda “Dark Natural” Spruce
“Dark Natural” is an unoiled finish – the wood is burned and brushed, but no oil is applied. The warm, reddish-brown tone visible across the board face forms naturally during the burning process. Knots, growth rings, and the distinctive features of the spruce are revealed without any added colour layer, leaving the authentic character of the wood fully visible.
As the surface carries no oil, it will gradually take on a grey tone over time when exposed to the elements. This is a finish whose appearance changes naturally with its environment rather than remaining fixed year after year.
