Degmeda “Silver Grey” Spruce

“Silver Grey” keeps the grey tone light while letting the structure of the wood carry the surface. After charring, the carbon layer is brushed back until the harder grain stands slightly proud of the softer timber around it. Beneath a silver grey oil those raised lines read darker, while the wood between them holds a warmer tone, so the growth rings, grain and knots of the spruce stay plainly visible.

Where “Light Grey” settles into a softer, more even undertone, “Silver Grey” carries more contrast across the board. It suits facades and interiors where the timber should read as texture rather than as flat colour, and where variation between boards is part of the intended effect.
