Degmeda’s “Deep Char” Thermo Pine begins with Pinus Radiata – thermally modified at high temperatures to achieve exceptional dimensional stability and strong resistance to rot and moisture. This engineered core ensures long-term reliability in demanding exterior conditions.
The boards are then deeply charred using the traditional Shou Sugi Ban method, forming a thick, sculptural carbon layer with dramatic fissures. This textured finish not only enhances visual depth but also provides outstanding UV protection.
