Degmeda “Silver Grey” Thermo Pinus Radiata

“Silver Grey” keeps the grey tone light while letting the structure of the wood carry the surface. After charring, the carbon layer is brushed back until the harder grain stands slightly proud of the softer timber around it, and a silver grey oil is applied over the brushed surface.

Thermally modified Pinus radiata has a dense, even structure, so the grain reads in a regular rhythm rather than in strong individual figures. Where “Light Grey” settles into a softer, more uniform undertone, “Silver Grey” keeps that rhythm visible while holding a steady tone across the surface.
